I don't know if it is possible but it think a filament that changes its properties at different print temperatures would be awesome. Like it would print rigid, semi rigid, flexible and very flexible depending on the temperature you print it at.

I want to see a mix of ABS and PLA together in one filament, or at least both properties in one filament. Something that doesnt need alot of heat but is durable and not so brittle like PLA.

I believe that for most home, PLA is good, so I would focus more on improving the strengthen and reducing the cost. Cost is probably the most important factor for me when it comes to filament.

we need a stretchy ninjaflex type filament that can print without having to redesign existing extruders.

I have to agree with some of the earlier posts. Conductive material would be awesome. It would allow for some complex parts pre-wired (when printing with dual extrusion)!

"true" carbon fiber filament, with fibers running parallel along the length of the filament. Not just powdered carbon fiber, mixed in.
