The web series Con Man, created by entertainers Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion, the project raised more than $3 million to cover the cost of production on Indiegogo. Joel Telling was scheduled to volunteer during San Diego Comic Con at the NerdHQ event, and through that, he knew he'd have a chance to meet the cast of Con Man. Known as The 3D Printing Nerd, Telling says he decided on a whim to 3D print the logo for the Con Man series. And the idea took off from there as a PR person for the show brought the print backstage at San Diego Comic Con and got the cast to sign it. Telling then auctioned the logo off and donated the cash to Operation Smile through The Nerd Machine. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/87075/3d-printed-con-man-logo/
