3D Printed Autism Assistance Devices hits Indiegogo

Matt Reamer grew up with an autistic older brother, Dustin, who has always had difficulty in communicating his thoughts to others. Through Dustin's Words, Reamer is working on the development of a customized augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device to help Dustin, and others on the autism spectrum, to communicate more easily--and 3D printing is helping to enhance the process of design, prototyping, and customization. Today, Global Accessibility Awareness Day, is the perfect time for Dustin's Words to launch an Indiegogo campaign to crowdfund their first 100 prototypes, with 90 mass produced and 10 custom builds. Find out more about the background of this innovative project in the full story: http://3dprint.com/61933/dustins-words-communication/
