If We were to offer 3D Printing Classes What would you Like to See
We are teaming with 3DPrint.com to hold some online courses. These courses will cost money but they will be very informative and educational. At the end of the courses you will be able to earn a certificate in whatever the subject is. We'd love to hear some ideas. What would you like to learn about? What would you like to be able to earn a certificate for -- something that could pad your resume?
All ideas welcomed. It must be related to 3D Printing, 3D Scanning, and 3D Design.

I'll happily design or teach classes :-)
based on the most common questions a course on: 'Reading the instructions' would probably benefit many forum members :-)

I suggest offering a rapid prototyping class that uses 3d printers. Teach how to design models in 3d for print. The operation of the printer itself is not something that needs a whole class associated with it.

A certificate from an online course on equipment operation where nobody got their hands on any actual equipment would be pretty worthless. I agree with djprinter; if you want to teach online courses, stick to software that people can either buy before enrolling or download and use. Most of the problems that people have with 3D printing are tied to the peculiarities of their particular machines; a generic hands-off course focusing on a different machine won't do them much good.

A course related to 3d printing and successful business. Which possibilities exist, how to start, and so on. Especially for private users and desktop/DIY devices.
