[Solved]G29 Auto Bed Leveling Matrix not "in the middle" of printbed?
Hi, I have the following problem with Autobed leveling on my Delta RepRap printer:
The printer takes different probe points, but only from the rear part of the print bed.
I made a video and uploaded it to youtube, so you can see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xhEzA4M-aQ
Can somebody tell me how to fix this?Last edited by Whitey; 06-17-2016 at 10:59 AM.

What version of the firmware are you using?

OK. First thing to do is go get the current RCBugFix: https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/tree/RCBugFix
Bring this up and report back if things are not working well for you. There are a huge number of improvements and most likely your issue has been addressed in the new code base.

First of all sorry for the long absence. It just updated the firmware to the latest RCBugFix according to your solution, but now there is something really messed up with autobed leveling.
What I did:
1. Connect to the printer via Repetier
2. Run G28 (works well)
3. Lower Z a bit, so you can see the effect of G29 better
4. Run G29 ------> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hwx1jiNZYuA (wtf ?!)
Here are my configurations (old [Marlin 1.0.0] and new[latest RCBugfix] ): http://www.filedropper.com/configurations
(PS: attachments in this message board are not working!)
I would really appreciate some help

I'm not sure what that video is supposed to show. But if that wasn't a G28 homing the machine, you have done something to push the effector outside of the printable radius. When the effector goes out of bounds on a Delta, it goes up.
Also, did you do a M502 followed by a M500 to initialize your EEPROM?

Update: I managed to get it "working" like in the first post, so the update to the latest Marlin version didn't help.
The printer still takes probes from a grid which is not in the middle. It looks more like this when probing (green square):
Edit: Finally solved. Just had the probe offset wrong.
Just to let you know: Nevertheless I moved back to Marlin v1.0 because with the newest Marlin, autobed leveling is still messed up..
With the newest marlin version and after G29, my printhead crashed into the bed during printing the first layer at some point.
With marlin v1.0 and exactly the same configuration everything works well during printing.Last edited by Whitey; 06-17-2016 at 12:06 PM.
Printing time- Is this right?
