3D Printable Neckties Imitate Movement of Real Fabric
Software engineer Boris Rabinovich created a textile that could be 3D printed on an FDM 3D printer, but still moves and acts like a traditional fabric. He used it to create 3D printable neckties that are extremely durable and mimic the movements of real fabrics. He has designed two versions of the tie, a traditional and a skinny tie version, and offers four plastic “knots” that can easily be changed out.
