Ultimaker Original+ A Worthy Update?
Hi all,
It's been nearly 2 years since I purchased my Prusa i3v, and a year since I built my last small printers. I've been wanting to move onto a new machine with a bit better precision, size and speed. I've designed about a dozen printers, coreXY, Delta, you name it, but my BOM costs are still $1500-$2000USD to build one.m
With that figure, I've noticed lately that there are some decent deals on the original Ultimaker Original+
So I was wondering, does the original Ultimaker make a reasonable purchase almost 2 years since its last update, and 5 years since its release? I can't help but be lured in by its proven mechanics and huge ecosystem, but I still have this urge to build one myself...
Thoughts?
Ryan

You talking about the old wooden one? Wouldn't touch it if I were you.
