One Hackaday contributor shared a recent project which he calls the “Smart Desktop Medicine Organizer.” The device, which includes 3D printed mechanics and external container, uses a Raspberry Pi to organize a patient’s medications and to connect to WiFi and get information concerning medications that could conflict with one another if taken together. It can also inform doctors and pharmacists of a patient’s use of a given medication and even notify them if a patient is running low on a given prescription. The device’s designer, Joe, has shared a video, imagines and more. Check out details at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/87278/3d-printed-med-dispenser/
