Omni3D Factoru 2.0 -- Large, Precise FDM 3D Printer
Poland's Omni3D has recently unveiled a new 3D printer that's incredibly robust and very large. The Factory 2.0 as the call it include numerous premium features setting it apart from most other machines on the market. Besides it's large 19.7 inch x 19.7 inch x 19.7 inch build envelope, the Factory 2 have pairs high precision printing with incredible control. The machine utilizes a filament sensor as well as capacitive sensors to make sure the user is in control over every aspect the the print. There has yet to be a price announced for the Factory 2.0. If the price of this product is on par with present prosumer/soho products then is machine represents the step change in FDM quality for output, build and features that the Form 1 brought for SLA.
If true the producers may need to be a little cautious as it has the potential to truly ruffle Stratasys feathers!
However I still want one (make that two).

If the price is on par with current trends it'll be around 5000 euros.
For the buoild volume that'd be a decent price.
It looks good and they haven't claimed ridiculous print speeds either.

5k that would be incredible ?
5k Euros may be if a kit version appeared but I guess between 7 & 9k (Euros) just look
at the German RR 400mm and this is way higher spec (good base line info here http://www.aniwaa.com/) to compare price vs spec.
We need more user stories, examples of prints ( printing vids and close up photos, that owls a moveable prop) to verify independently their claims
and why no crowd funded launch which seems the norm these days?

It's priced at 10,000 Euros and out in September
