Temperature Sensitive Prosthetic Hand
Researchers in China have developed a 3D printed prosthetic hand which can sense temperatures, particularly extreme temperatures on objects which a wearer wishes to pick up. If a temperature is determined to be "too hot", the hand released that object and send an electrical signal back to the wearer's muscle.
