XYZprinting's da Vinci 1.1 Plus
The New Kinpo Group (NKG) earns more than $30 billion in revenues annually and has more than 8,500 engineers involved in R&D across four continents and through their XYZPrinting division, the company has just released their new da Vinci 1.1 Plus, an upgraded version of the company's da Vinci 1.0 3D printer. The da Vinci 1.1 Plus features WiFi connectivity and remote access through XYZprinting's free XYZapp for iPad and Android tablet devices, and it can also operate as a completely stand-alone printer. I like the one with the built in scanner. Dunno if it actually works, but I like the 3d photo copier idea.

You mean the da Vinci AiO Printer/Scanner Aardvark? This one doesn't have a scanner with it but I like the built in camera option. For a model called the "Plus" I would have thought the build volume would have been slightly bigger than the V1.0. Other than the camera and WiFi the rest of it is pretty much the same. More connectivity options too.
Interesting their YouTube video for it says "Build faster, bigger" but when you compare build volumes side by side they are the same.
da Vinci 1.0 Build Volume
- 7.8x7.8x7.8 (20x20x20cm)
da Vinci 1.1 Plus Build Volume
- 7.8x7.8x7.8 (20x20x20cm)
Maybe I'm just used to "Plus" meaning bigger what with having an iPhone 6+ and going "plus size" on my last mcdonalds meal

I have a V1.0 as well, and I sure like the idea of an incorporated 3D scanner too. I also really like the fact that the cartridges are now refillable & re-chippable too

Interesting but there is an error in the article because the Da Vinci 1.1 Plus is not available on amazon and Best Buy.

I think this was a marketing ploy and will never be released.
