Spain Supports HP's 3D Printing Ambitions With €21.25 million
Spain’s Board of Ministers has just made an announcement that they will be endowing HP with funds in the sum of €21.25 million to support their endeavors in 3D printing. Aware of HP’s latest announcements, and hoping to cement their Sant Cugat del Vallès facility as a forerunner over HP’s handful of other worldwide large printer development facilities, Spain is giving their very generous support to HP’s research and innovation in 3D printing. The move seems to be lighting quite a flame of activity in the 3D printing world. It's a drop in the bucket for HP, but imagine what an investment like that would have done for the DIY 3D printing community in Spain. One has to wonder what those ministers are smoking...
