Autodesk/Authentise Partner, Spark Offers $100 Million in Funding
Autodesk today announced details regarding the Spark Investment Fund, which will offer $100 million to startups, entrepreneurs, and businesses creating innovations in 3D printing technology. Autodesk’s hope with the fund is to help the 3D printing industry progress more rapidly, as well as highlighting their new Spark platform, software meant to connect digital information to 3D printers in a revolutionary new way, creating more of a standard for the 3D printing industry. Additionally there has been a rather interesting partnership deal signed between Autodesk and Authentise, the IP protecton company securing 3D designs. More details on these deals can be found here: http://3dprint.com/22063/investment-fund-autodesk/
