I haven't had the chance to 3d print yet but i could see myself printing a lot of prototypes for every day useful things, or camera equipment or costumes.

So far, downloading models made by other people. I love to build and create small machines but I am trying to get into creating my own 3D designs. So these pre-made designs you can download are very useful for learning.

My first (and so far only) 3D print is a Dalek model I created
- I really like 3d modelling
- enjoyed solving how to make the model 3d print suitable
- opened up to new ideas and techniques in 3d modelling by taking on the challenge of making it 3D printed
- very satisfying to have in my hand

I primarily use my machine to produce prototypes of designs for local businesses. It has provided a nice little side business and has given me the opportunity to grow in my knowledge base through experimentation in printing.

I prototype a lot. it is my job at the firm I work for. the printers we have allow us to prototype in drastically less time than our old system.
