MakerBot's Zee Blank
Makerbot seems to constantly be thinking outside the box when it comes to unique ideas to get people interested in 3D printing. The company has just launched their 99 cent Zee Blank 3D printable blank canvas of a character. Users can download the character and then paint or use clay to customize it into whatever the heck they want. Below you will find an animation of some of the characters which artists have already created around the world. More details on this idea can be found here: http://3dprint.com/11985/makerbot-zee-blank
Have you created your own Zee? Post the pics for us all here!

OK, it's a blob. It's their right to try to sell it, but it seems bizarre to do so.

Does seem bizarre, but I can see many artistic people loving this. I would, if I had a MakerBot. I wish their files were printable on other printers.
