Ok, I'll try this later once my long print I'm doing now finishes. This is a fun test. Thanks for staring it.

Here's one last sample and then I need to work for awhile. This is the snout of a T-Rex I printed to do just what we are talking about here. I wanted to test overhangs and this model has a lot, at different angles and dimensions. I was pleased with it. This model is about 1.5" tall. I was really impresses with the skin texture I was able to capture.

Over the last week or so I printed and installed a shroud for the cooling fan on my extruder. Its blowing directly on the freshly extruded material, and that made all the difference in the world! There really was an incredible change in print quality when looking at curved overhangs. My overhang capability when from about 45 deg to almost 20 deg. I'm amazed at how much focusing the cooling air affected the part quality.

This part was printed in the orientation shown; two axis parallel to the print bed and one normal. I did use support but mainly for bed adhesion reasons. All in all, very pleased
