General Electric launches contest for 3D Printed Jet Engine
Did you ever want to own a 3D printed jet engine? Well now you can.... sort of. GE is holding a contest to give aways 12 replicas of jet engines. As many of us know, GE uses 3D printing in the production of jet engine parts. This is a way they can let everyone in on the action. They have also just uploaded the 13 piece designs to thingiverse if you want to download and print your own. More details at http://3dprint.com/8921/ge-build-your-own-3d-printed
Have you downloaded and printed this out? I'd love to see a photo.
