Extrusion Trouble (No-trivial)
Hi everyone, I came across this problem yesterday out of the blue, and I'm unsure of the cause.
(replace the space with a period)
Most of the details are in the video and it's description.
What I've done so far:
Changes slicers
Changed model to print
Removed filament from feeder and nozzle.
Reset slicer settings
Disassembly of filament feeder and cleaned the drive gear.
I've noticed that this issue only occurs when there is filament in the printer. When I attempt to print Without filament, the drive gear is spinning the entire time.
Has anyone on here encountered the same issue, or be willing to help?
Thanks.Last edited by curious aardvark; 08-17-2019 at 06:35 AM.

what printer is it ?
How long have you had it and has this just started or (if it's new) always been like it.
Initially I'd say you've got a loose connection on your extruder stepper motor.
Check the wires, and possibly the voltage in the firmware.
And I fixed your video link :-)

Hi, it's an anycubic i3 mega. Thank you for responding.
The issue appears to be what you suggested, and maybe other things. From when I posted till now I have replaced the hotend along with redoing the wiring and it seems to be printing fine. (although it was a pain in the ***).
Than you for the advice and fixing the link too.
