configuration.h for https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/tree/RCBugFix w/abl
I would like to get running the latest marlin. I started comparing Colin's original configuration.h to the one with https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/tree/RCBugFix and determined that it is leagues behind. I have 8" I3v with a servo ABL setup and a e3d extruder. Could someone who has a similar setup give me a good starting configuration.h? I would very much appreciate this!

Just grab the latest RCBugFix and cross your settings over. A visual diff program like NotePad++ with the comparison plug-in works very well. It will take you more time to get NotePad++ running than it will take you to do the actual migration of values.

You might want to take a look at marlin 1.1.0 RC3 that Collin has in the Pegasus Software zip file. It works pretty well and should be a lot closer to RC6 if that makes it easier for you. I'm using it now and it's been pretty solid. I like it a lot better than 1.0.3 (or what ever is "stock" on a Pegasus). Though, I would follow roxy's advice - planning to do that when I get some spare time and a bl touch.

I put all of the uncommented defines from the rcbugfix configuration.h and the 'colin' old configuration.h in an excel file and did some comparing (I do SQL stuff all day, I am using a saw to pound nails here.) The new file merges some items ( HOMING_FEEDRATE_XY vs HOMING_FEEDRATE), breaks out some others and drops some defines entirely.. and of course add a whole crop of entirely new defines for nozzle cleaning, etc.
I may use the excel as a guide as I can filter out a lot of the 'noise', but having looked at the Pegasus files, it it definitely closer to the bugfix and may be a better place to start, so, excellent suggestion, thank you.
