A part cooling fan is beneficial for the majority of materials that you can print. Essentially what it is doing is cooling the filament as its being extruder making it stiffer. This helps while you print overhangs and if you are printing bridges. Overall it makes your prints cleaner and better looking.
The biggest downfall to Makerfarm printers are the lack of a part cooling fan. I would certainly design and print one for your setup. You could also search on Thingiverse to see if you can find anything you can use.
I have a Pegasus 12" with a Titan Extruder and a part cooling fan.
