Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Branch Technology uses a freeform 3D printing method and natural design patterns as inspiration for its large-scale 3D printed sculptures and wall panels. Take for example the recent project unveiled during Chattanooga's Startup Week in October. This project uses three functional and aesthetically futuristic wall panels intended for display in Chattanooga's new Enterprise Center. The idea is to highlight both 3D printing's unique "customization to scale technology," and to feature the topology of Southern Tennessee in the same structures. This project comes on the heels of a display of the tallest 3D printed structure in the Americas, a collaboration between Branch Technology and architect Keith Kaseman, that was recently exhibited at Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA).
