Botz&Us, a team of developers and innovators from the UK, recently took to 3D printing to create a first-of-its kind high-end music player. The CD player, in a project led by "Andrei the maker," is an impressive machine meant for the innovative audiophile. Andrei told 3DPrint.com about the creative process, which started with his acquisition of a MakerGear M2 3D printer, on which he'd been longing to print a pair of working speakers. Andrei designed the machine using SolidWorks, and the working piece took about 6 hours to print using Andrei's M2 with its E3D V6 + Volcano hot end and its large 0.8mm nozzle. This is just the first iteration, but the Botz&Us team has plans to create further versions--check this one out, complete with a video of the CD player in use, in the full article: http://3dprint.com/66332/3d-printed-cd-player/
