Slot car racing was once an enormously popular hobby across the United States, especially around the 1960s. Sales of slot car-related goods ran to nearly half a billion dollars annually and racers had their choice of more than 3,000 purpose-built public tracks to practice their hobby and race their scale-sized vehicles. Now Tracy Brown of Go Fast Products, working in conjunction with partners Rapid Slot and and SlotCars-R-Us, is offering a 3D printed slot car chassis which takes advantage of 3D printing technology.
