RC cars have been a fun hobby for enthusiasts for a long time, but since 3D printing has spread in popularity, hobbyists are finding themselves increasingly able to customize their RC vehicles to their own specifications. Daniel Norée helped to enhance customization through his OpenRC Project, allowing for others to share tips, files, ideas, and more in building RC parts and vehicles. A friend of his, Thomas Palm, has been a participant in the OpenRC Project for some time, and has been developing and designing 3D printed wheels and tires. With 36 different combinations available of wheels and tires, users can completely customize their RC vehicles, allowing for them to drive on snow or sand with ease.
