Johnson Matthey to Open New R&D Facility for Ceramic 3D Printing
Johnson Matthey, recently voted as Britain's most admired chemical company, has been exploring 3D printing for some time now. Ceramic 3D printing in particular complements the company's extensive work with catalysts and coatings, as Johnson Matthey has focused on binder jetting technology. The company's Research Group Leader in AM presented a look into their operations around additive manufacturing at the recent AM Conference, and today JM announced the opening of a new R&D facility for ceramic AM in Royston, UK.
