Disabled Veteran Creates 3D Printed Fang for Shooting Stability
A veteran of both the Marines and the Navy, James Renteria was injured in Northwest Afghanistan while on a tour of duty. Upon learning that he would not be able to shoot again with the accuracy he once had, the disabled vet decided to use what could have been a negative and turn it into a positive—and a business. Going back to school for CAD instruction as well as learning how to 3D print, he was able to make a small fang that attaches to the rifle and adds both stability and accuracy for the person shooting. It took 50 different 3D printed iterations before he was happy with the product. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/146522/vet-3d-pr...ng-stabilizer/
