Editing the scanned file before printing
Hello ,
I am Monzurul a new member of this forum and feeling proud to join here .
I am using structure sensor with i-pad for scanning my friends, I use the itseez3D software for the final cloud processing of the scanned Data , but whenever I open the scanned data (.obj .mtl &texture ) on mesh-lab then I notice that the quality of the mesh is not satisfactory as there is always some black shadow on the neck or the side of the face on the founded scan copy.
and even after 3d printing the printed physical outcome also remain on the same very poor quality. So I THINK IT IS NEEDED TO EDIT THE .OBJ or .MTL or Texture OF THE SCANNED FILE BEFORE PRINTING , NOW IF ANY-ONE HAVE AN IDEA HOW IT MAY BE EDITED?? PLEASE INFORM ME, ACTUALLY I AM SEARCHING A PROFESSIONAL 3D FIGURE EDITOR FOR THE MENTIONED WORK
Regards

I believe Blender 3D can be used to edit .STL files so could probably be used on .OBJ files too?
