It should take up a similar amount of space to an i3 with a cantilevered X axis. Something like the Cetus 3D printer or Tronxy X1. It would take up a bit more room on the Z due to the scissor like mechanism (think when the hotend is closest to the Z axis pillar).

Some hard prints with the printer, they provide very good updates and such and show timelapses of the thing printing complicated stuff. I'm definitely getting excited for this printer, of course still holding off stuff. They said in comments they will have part cooling show up very soon etc. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects.../posts/2005029
