replicator 2x printing issue

hi guys, I'm new to 3d printing and this site so hopefully I'm posting in the proper section

i just got the makerbot replicator 2x shipped to me and i have had nothing but issues. it was missing parts like the hood and SD card and the extruder heads weren't at the same level so leveling wasn't working. i fixed that but now when ever i print the prints shift after each layer or every couple of layers. i have also noticed it can't print perfect circles.

does anyone have some advice regarding this because I'm extremely disappointed with this product so far.
