    3D Printed Scarab Beetle Box

Thingiverse user Louise Driggers (who goes by "loubie" on the site) has come up with an impressive design for a 3D printed scarab beetle box. While there are many small box designs available for download on Thingiverse, Driggers' scarab box has a secret -- there's a secret drawer under the wings that can latch closed. The design is based on the "Egyptian Revival" period of the 19th and 20th centuries, rather than on genuine ancient artifacts, bringing several different eras into this 3D printed piece.
