On initial testing x axis problems
I'm finishing up an i3v and on initial testing the x axis goes in the wrong direction. My understanding is that this is a firmware issue of some kind? How do I fix this?

Simply unplug the connector for the servo at the RAMPS board, and rotate it 180 degrees and plug it back in. It might go back to a firmware issue, but this is the quick fix.Old Man Emu

Thanks, I tried it and it worked. I thought about doing this earlier but was afraid I'd damage something.

DanB, I had this EXACT problem. Colin said that the pin config was flipped in the original firmware file, and that he never got around to fixing it.
I too was nervous about flipping the jumper around.

Good info, I've destroyed hardware swapping wires, so I'm hesitant to do so. Knowing that this is safe is useful, thanks.
