These have been very popular and are much cheaper. Personally I dislike any type of metal extruder parts unless you are doing constant temps of over 280.
You mean we can just print these and use them for Flexible filament? That would be awesome.

It adds $100 to countersink them and the total is $173. So if you can countersink your own holes with a drill and 90degree chamfer bit then it wouldn't be too bad. If you get 4 plates with just holes drilled the price goes down to 33$ each, again you'd have to countersink your own holes.
Here is the quote I received from emachine shop using the actual .step file:
    Quantity: 1
    Material: Aluminum MIC6
Turnaround Time Estimate: 20 business days (excluding transit time)

Total job price including UPS Ground shipping $271.37.

Even worse than the first quote.

I used their design tools and it was 73... 173 with countersinking. Just used 6061 AL which does make a difference. When I switched to 7075 T6 it went to 97.

Yeah, it is probably the MIC6 making it go up so high because they have to handle it with kid gloves knowing I am buying it for its flatness.

Yep, it is recommended to use the older gear from Flasforge though. It grips soft filaments better.

I run NinjaFlex at 60mm/s with that plastic on a regular basis.

This is what it looks like printed and installed. This is with the gear that comes with the Qidi, but if I ran ninja flex i would swap out to a the other style gear that has teeth running the length front to back.

Much appreciated, I can see the settings and the pictures are definitely helpful.

I know what I'm printing shortly, can the other gear be swapped directly and how much does it run?

Mono price usually has them, about 10 bucks or so.

A little pricey given you can get the entire dual extruder assembly for $85 from Qidi. But flexible filament seems really cool. I may get this, later down the road.

Oh and has anyone printed this before? http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:481259 (Spiral_2) I tried printing twice and both times it failed with the back part getting stringly. I will post a picture when I get home later. But just wondering if anyone manage to print this before? Everything else I printed came out well. I am wondering if the model needs to have precise bed leveling to come out properly. Oh and I used the vase option in S3D as well. Thanks.
I print NinjaFlex all the time with my QIDI printer. Just print out the FFCP upgraded extruder and you will be good to go!

    Perfect, definitely a doable upgrade!
