    What is this fuzz?

I am currently printing in PLA and there are some fine strings on my prints and some fuzz on the printer and other parts. What is causing this? Too high a temp? Not enough retraction?

I am using a E3dv6 hot end, Slicer is cura, 210 Print temp

Is retraction and tempeture. Bring the tempeture down by 5. What is your retraction number. 2 is good. But I use simplify3d.

My retraction is currently at 1mm. That is the most I dare to go with the E3d, the manual specifically calls for less retraction. I will reduce the temps and see what results I can get. I am still going back and forth between slic3r and cura.

How do you like the Simplify3d? I am assuming you are printing on a MakerFarm?

I lowered the temps and the retractions but I am still getting weird strings and "appendages". They come off easily enough but they are weird.
