Swedes Johan Nordstöm and Johan Blom of Tribility AB they say their new device, Tribility Core, attaches to a 3D printer to make it intuitive to use and obviate the need to decide on configurations and settings. The Tribility Core can be used to monitor and control a printer, discover models to print from an online model library, and design objects using a series of built-in design apps. The hardware includes functions like wireless printing, pause and resume, and works via a tablet or smartphone connection. The device also includes a series of apps to simplify 3D object creation: Cube Maker, Lithograph Maker, Tribility Designer, Tribilty 3D Inventor, and Tribility Vase Maker.
