In need of some knowledgeable guidence.

Alright so i recently decided i wanted to buy a 3D printer and I've done some looking around but i was wondering if there was any way someone with experience could aim me in the correct direction. the price range i have is 700-1k. on just the printer alone, so i was looking at the Robo3D but maybe there is a better one out there for my price range. any assistance would be great! really appreciate it, and sorry if this is in the wrong area, looked around for an intro isn title didn't spot one.

maybe if i am more specific with what I'm using it for it will aid who ever helps to tell me whats best for me. i dont need like super amazing prints, just quality ones. for stuff around the house and to give to some friends. but not shitty prints obviously.

Most printers nasically have the same function right now, but what about:

Solidoodle 3D Printer, 3nd Generation
MOTA 3D Printer (not out yet, but looks impressing)
Makerbot Replicator?
Cube 3
These are under 1000 USD, last time I checked.
