HI guys, I am working with ABS now and finding some small issues. It will be hard to see in these pics but if you look at the rounded end of the hinge the orange PLA is nice and round and that area looks like a dowel. The white ABS one is getting cut off at the ends and is not completely round along the axis on the bottom side.
Thanks for any thoughts.

Has anyone tried doing a "reset to factory" on the printer for the settings?
I read a bit about the firmware and someone with a different printer having issues and found that the manufacturer of the board had flashed it to a newer firmware version but had not gone through a "reset" to actually clear the old settings and enable the new settings from the new firmware.
He said once he let it do a reset things started working better.
May accomplish nothing for this QIDI but wondered what you guys thought.

Well, for what I was investigating that would do nothing.

Probably not. The thing is that settings are stored in a different "memory" than firmware and are not over-written when firmware is flashed. Doing a "reset" will grab the new default settings from the new firmware and overwrite the previous settings.
Just wondering if anyone tried a "reset" to factory on one of these printers. Don't really want to try it without some confidence it isn't going to mess it up!

In case anyone is interested --- a 7/32' will fit the little nuts on the underside of the build platform.
