From what I see after unboxing it yesterday, this is a fantastic printer. So far I ran tests with a low-poly model, organic sculpture, a mechanical part and a flexible set of parts, in all four it excels. It is all steel so will remain stable for a long time. Very suitable for professional use, especially architects and industrial designers who need rapid prototypes. The microprocessor is an Arduino mega so very good and easy to program. The printhead has room for up to three extruders, which can be developed quite cost-effectively.
Make sure to install stable releases of firmware, also there is software to convert gcode to the proprietary idea (.i) format Wanhao works with.
The Wanhao maker slicer produces great results and will generally have all the settings available you need.
I recommend this machine to everyone.

The Wanhao HBK is $225, and components for a dual extruder cost $210 total.
I think they made a good choice offering the basic configuration. The only error I got so far was the result of beta firmware, for the rest it has been printing wonderfully.

Yeah, heated bed kit so all in all this printer is modifiable. So far I found one person who made this into a dual head printer which took more time than with most other printers, but it worked in the end!

I am still a very happy customer, currently printing an 8" triceratops skull at 95mm/s speeds after successfully printing a set of golfballs at 85mm/s. I am slowly increasing print speeds to test the limits and I am seeing some quality differences already. I wonder if anyone has seen a 300mm/s print like they claim is possible.

We just ran the first tests in flexible filament. FlexPLA works wonderfully even when printing at normal speeds of 50 mm/s. It looks like it prints as smoothly as normal PLA so you can amp up the speed considerably. Filaflex is too flexible and gets stuck in crevices in the extruder, similar to what happens in Lulzbot machines. So we would need to modify the gear drive to make that work.
Soon we will be testing high speed printing with a 1.0mm extruder.

I still have the original Formfutura FlexBlack from 5 years ago, a generic FlexPLA - it is now off the market.
I bet it will do Ninjaflex well too, that will be the next test.
