Adam Beane Industries, a sculpture studio and manufacturing facility, is known for its unique Cx5 material, a medium that possesses the qualities of clay, wax and plastic. It can be used to sculpt, paint, machine and more, its consistency controlled by temperature. This year, the company will be introducing a Cx5 filament that will combine 3D printing with traditional sculpture. 3D models are digitally designed and printed as usual, but the printed model can then be carved, textured, and otherwise sculpted like clay; when cooled, it hardens like any resin model.
