Japanese designer Masahuru Ono and engineer Taisuke Ohshima may truly be pioneering the way in producing ‘sensible’ clothing via 3D printing. Accepting the fact that making an entire piece of clothing on the 3D printer is possible but just not always attractive, they combined 3D scanning, software, and fabrication techniques along with hand sewing as they explored auxetics.
