There have been a number of efforts to utilize 3D printing as a mode for the creation of housing solutions. The latest contribution to this area of interest is made by Buzz Technology Limited, a research and development company, which is proposing to use river bed clays and sands from the sea bed to 3D print houses at waterside or floating production facilities. These houses would be engineered to withstand the stresses of transportation from production facility to installation site and potentially even be transported again if the owners were to move to another location.
