3D printed Metal Flatware By 3D Systems
3D Systems has just released a collection of high end stainless steel flatware designed by their Creative Director, 3D designer Janne Kyttanen. The Ice Breaker collection was inspired by the geometric shapes created when ice cracks and splinters. The flatware was created using the Direct Metal Printing (DMP) process which is capable of creating fully dense objects with homogeneous microstructures that make them virtually indistinguishable from traditionally manufactured metal parts. You can read more about Ice Breaker and the DMP process here: http://3dprint.com/86959/3d-systems-...re-collection/

Those hollow open handles are really dumb. What happens when they fill up with gunk? Get another $20,000 set of flatware?
