3D Systems & US Navy ink cooperative R&D deal
The military obviously has a plan for integrating 3D printing into many sectors of the military, from making items like uniforms to artillery. Recently though, 3D Systems inked a deal with Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) to operate on a broader scale in terms of evaluating and working to fulfill strategies for use of 3D printing within the Navy.
