Creality Ender-2. I have a TronXY X1 of which this is a 'clone'. However, the Ender-2 has a heated bed and a taller z-axis. These v-slot based printers have been getting good reviews and are very...
Is that a picture frame? If so then you don't have to have so many perimeters to get that effect.
You might try the direct drive first. Seems like Bowden came about for delta printers because of weight. I don't think that weight should be an issue with the Prusa and you won't really get an...
Try putting it in the freezer for a bit. My PETG prints pop right off after it gets cold. I use purple gluestick on the glass. It might make it a bit easier to come off.
Glad to hear you are getting things dialed in.
Sounds like your stepper is skipping. Might try increasing the voltage on your driver.
Fine. They didn't invent the diamond hotend though. Is it a clone or is it original?
Thinking on this a bit more. The OP is selling these which sure seems to make this a commercial post. It reads like one too.
I use a rechargeable dessicant in an waterproof file box.
That looks like a Diamond hotend? They didn't design that. Or am I wrong?
Sorry, not very familiar with the CTC printer. However, it does look like that would be the correct extruder for that printer but not 100% certain. Are you sure that the extruder you have is faulty...
The E3D Titan (sold on Amazon or direct) is getting really good reviews although it is much more expensive than what you have. Their hotend is probably the highest rated one out there too. I've read...
I keep pushing this printer because I really want one (can't justify another printer). The Prusa i3 MK2 is receiving really high reviews. It doesn't show up on 3D Forged buyer's guide but it is on 3D...
I'm assuming that this is the diamond hotend clone that you are using? If it is you might take a look at this video:

He explains how to rework the...
Sure sounds like something an Arduino Uno could do quite easily.
Initially the end effector was the thing that everybody thought was unique about this printer. In the end this has turned out to be the weak point in the design. There are relatively few fans...
This post should help a bit: http://forums.openbeamusa.com/threads/build-complete-now-where-do-i-start.255/#post-2615
In the end this printer is a typical kossel. If you search for kossel...
The forces behind the Kossel Pro have proved to be a huge disappointment to the community. Documentation is very poor, there has never been a BOM released and updates and communication are few and...
I think the race to the bottom is just that..a race to the bottom. We aren't going to see an increase in quality with any new decreases in cost. It is already the age of dirt cheap parts so all...
Hi Philwire. I'm sure you are really excited bout getting into this. A quick word of advice warning though...buying your first printer can open the flood gates of negative cash flow...lol. It is a...
One of the benefits of open source is that good designs will be embraced by the community and enhanced. I wouldn't worry too much about rough edges if I were you. Just make sure that you release it...
I wouldn't recommend multi-color printing for new folks. It is NOT ready for prime time. Buy a cheap kit and figure out if you have the patience to get where you want to be.
You don't give a...
I find this post to be very cool. Wish there was an Ikea in my state!

Hi, not for the faint of heart but you might try the document listed in the first post of this link: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/deltabot/V6ATBdT43eU
