The Desktop 3D Printer - $1300
Has anyone seen or heard of "The Desktop 3D Printer". I assume that's the name although it isn't a very good one lol.
Here is a link to where it can be purchased

Anyone know who makes this printer?
Apparently it won Popular Mechanics "Breakthrough" Award, yet I have never heard of it. How does it compare with the Replicator 2?

I was watching a video about this printer. They said filament costs about $50 to print approximately 15 items. Seems a bit pricey to me. Is that normal pricing for filament?

Well i would buy for that money a Ultimaker,
It will be a little more Kitish and not as good looking, but faster and cheaper fillement (any 3.0 diameter pla and abs fillement will do)
If you are new and do not wanna learn about 3D printing a whole lot, Get the Cube Up!
