Hi, when I use my Makerbot 2X it prints the raft perfect, but when it gets to the 1st layer it doesn't stick and is very loose and it is very skinny and doesn't look right. Please Help.

umm, given that you're answering posts that don't exist and are clearly psychic, would I be better just sitting here and thinking an answer :-)

I've had this problem myself. In fact, I'm using a QIDI TECH which is similar to the Makerbot 2x.
What slicer are you using? Makerbot Desktop, Slic3r, Simplify3D, Cura, MatterControl, ReplicatorG? Something else? That's where the troubleshooting needs to start.
Also, what is the raft made of? ABS or some other plastic? Some plastics don't stick together as well as you'd hope.
Printer will print perfect...
