Afinia Releases New H-Series 3D Printer, H480
Afinia just announced the availability of its new model H-Series 3D Printer, the H480. It's basically the same as its predecessor, the H479, but it's even more user-friendly with new auto-leveling and nozzle height detection features. They're ready to ship and you can order them from our site.
The auto-leveling feature helps compensate for warped or uneven print surfaces (please note that auto-leveling this feature does not take the place of manual leveling). The included platform calibration probe attaches magnetically to the extruder head, and connects to the printer through a data cable. The probe measures the height of the build platform at nine different points and calibrates the printer in a little over two minutes. Auto-leveling improves the ability of the printed model to adhere to the print platform by compensating for imperfections in the platform surface.
The nozzle detection feature measures the nozzle height to ensure that it is the correct distance from the printing surface prior to printing. This process takes about 20 seconds to complete, is more accurate than setting the nozzle height manually, and helps models properly adhere to the print surface.
These new features, along with its easy setup, user-friendly software and exceptional performance make the Afinia H480 and excellent choice for 3D printing beginners and professionals. Click here to learn more about the Afinia H480 and let us know if you have any questions!
