Monoprice Maker Select: Got v1 instead of v2 :(

Hi

I recently purchased my first 3d printer. I found what I thought was a good deal on ebay for the Monoprice Maker Select v2 ($315 new in box). Unfortunately, the seller used the wrong stock photo and was not aware there were two versions. Its actually a v1. Honest mistake.

The seller has offered to allow me to return it for a refund, or will give me a partial refund if I keep it.

I'm looking for an educated opinion as to if I should return the v1 and pay an extra $35 for a v2, or should I take the partial refund? If so, how much of a refund do you think it's worth.
