So, I want to order the QIDI and was wondering if anyone has any experience purchasing it from Amazon. If so, would I expect to receive the newest model from amazon or are they previous versions, possibly before they upgraded the board.

Good choice - I bought my QIDI because it offered some high level features at a price that is mid range. Also like the heated build plate and fully enclosed frame. The only slight downside was that at times the print quality can be a bit hit or miss - but I'm still quite new at this so it could just be me?

They are on sale because the company is each day digging its grave, and it is doing so because their 5th gen products are so shamefully bad, so overpriced and their management of that so shameful that no amount of communication can save it.
