    Colorfab PLA First tests

    good morning folks.
I just wanted to see if this is common with colorfabb PLA or not.
I just did a test vase cylinder where i raised temps 5 degrees every 100 layers.
    190 , 195, 200, 205, 210

I see NO difference in quality etc all the way up... is that normal? seems like a 20 degree difference should change things a bit. but it does not.
    thanks

    yeah that's normal.

The big difference is that the hotter layers will have much stronger bonding and make stronger items.

but yet it seems on on cheaper filament that temperature matters much more. maybe colorfabb is worth the price haha

dunno I've tried different temps on all sorts of pla - and apart from the bonding I've mever really noticed much difference.
It flows better at the slightly higher temps, and i usually print fairly quick.

It's just a more consistent diameter is all, that's why you pay more, they have better machines.

to be honest, these days you'll struggle to find any odd diameters even in the cheapest ebay filament.
