I've used Astroprint with it with success.
I've heard others talking about using octoprint but haven't tried it myself.

Very nice and something I was wondering is how to add a boro glass plate for this machine as I love a glass bed. Where to purchase it from too?

Not nearly as cheap as for the standard 200mmX200mm Reprap versions off of eBay and Amazon. Oh, what size did you get for it? 10in X 6in? Shipped will be around 35 dollars versus the ones I mentioned shipped for 12-20 now.

I got 2-9" X 6" X 1/4" for 48.00 shipped. Which was cheaper then what anybody on Ebay had at this size at that time.

I was unsuccessful at getting Octoprint to work, but others have gotten it to work... I worked on it for an hour or so with no luck so I gave up and switched to Astroprint. Astroprint was easy to setup and works well. It is short on a couple features but hopefully they will improve it in the future.

Two of them for 24 a piece including shipping is pretty sweet but McMaster must have jacked up their rates since then (always my luck).

Btw, isn't 1/4inch (6.35mm) a bit thick? My boro on the reprap is 3mm.

    Thank you for the info.

Works fine and is what most are using with the clones.
No it's the same price I paid $18.73 plus shipping and that's what there website says.

On a RepRap i3 (with a moving Y) it would be too thick but can the bed on these machines handle the weight of 1/4in without some sag?

I wish I had known back before I made my i3 rework what I do now as I would never have done it (even with what was limited back then). First of all I am 100% against 8mm smooth rods for anything with the lengths, and height, we are dealing with. 10mm minimum and 12mm to be honest ESPECIALLY with two motors on the rods (there is two motors for the two extruders, right?) so two 8mm smooth rods for the Z axis trying to hold up a weight that is trying to tip over (due to the lack of rods on both sides/front and back) and adding more weight onto it I think would be bad. Heck, two X axis 8mm smooth rods on a Prusa I3 (all variants too) will sag in the middle so I can imagine with two motors on it.

I am just thinking outloud with what I have learned from RepRaps and what not to do.
